Mamobo Ogoro Named Female Entrepreneur of the Year at the LEO Awards South Dublin
We’re celebrating a huge milestone at GORM! Our founder, Mamobo Ogoro, has been named Female Entrepreneur of the Year at the Local Enterprise Office (LEO) South Dublin Awards!
This award, presented at a dynamic showcase event on March 6, 2025, at the Maldron Hotel, Tallaght, highlights Mamobo’s leadership, vision, and impact in driving meaningful change through GORM. It’s an incredible recognition of her work in bridging communities, amplifying diverse voices, and fostering true inclusion in workplaces and beyond.
The event, hosted by Noel Davidson, brought together some of South Dublin’s most outstanding entrepreneurs, all showcasing their innovative businesses and social enterprises. The night wasn’t just about awards—it was about celebrating ambition, resilience, and the power of entrepreneurship.
A huge congratulations to all the incredible finalists who took part in this year’s South Dublin Enterprise Awards competition. The level of talent, creativity, and dedication on display was truly inspiring.
The overall "South Dublin Enterprise Award" winner from the night will go on to represent South Dublin at the National Enterprise Awards in May 2025, competing against thirty other top entrepreneurs from across Ireland. We’ll be cheering them on as they showcase the best of South Dublin’s entrepreneurial spirit on the national stage!
We are deeply grateful to LEO South Dublin for this recognition and for their unwavering support of local businesses, startups, and social enterprises. Their work in nurturing entrepreneurship, fostering innovation, and championing local talent is invaluable, and this award is a reflection of the ecosystem they continue to build.
This award is not just a win for Mamobo—it’s a win for GORM’s mission. It fuels our passion to expand our impact, drive meaningful conversations, and empower workplaces to become truly inclusive spaces. We’re more motivated than ever to push forward, innovate, and continue creating a world where every voice is heard, valued, and empowered.
