Susan Quain
Trainee Clinical Psychologist
With a background as a special class teacher and over ten years of experience in a large urban Special School, Susan Quain is an Assistant Psychologist in the HSE Child and Family Service, providing therapeutic intervention for young people who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviour and their families.
Susan is the founder and owner of PsyClass, specialising in creating and providing training for educators supporting children with mental health difficulties. Having worked part-time as a tutor in Cognitive Psychology at Mary Immaculate College, and with extensive experience in the voluntary sector, leading programmes and supporting marginalised communities, Susan is soon to begin her PhD programme in Clinical Psychology in September 2024.
Susan specialises in training interventions related to trauma informed practice, psychological safety, and resilience.
