Dr. Anca's academic journey has been nothing short of impressive. She obtained her MSc degree in the Research Master on Migration, Ethnic Relations, and Multiculturalism, followed by her PhD at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Dr. Anca’s research and on the ground expertise is centred on ethnic relations, examining people's attitudes and interactions with individuals from diverse ethnic and political backgrounds. Her work delves into social and political change, migration, diversity, and inclusion from a social-psychological and cross-cultural perspective. All of this she applies to intercultural competence training and diversity and inclusion consultancy (in both public and private sector), which promotes acceptance of diversity, and reduces prejudice and marginalisation.
Dr. Anca is Romanian, a lover of comedy and a mother of two, who’s expertise and passion for human rights guides GORM’s work and social mission. We are incredibly excited to have Dr. Anca Minescu be our resident expert!
